Prosecutors have immense power within the criminal legal system and too
often they wield power by creating long-lasting harm in the lives of people,
disproportionately for those who are Black and poor. This report introduces the Prosecutor Organizing Table and lays out the six abolitionist principles to hold prosecutors’ offices accountable.
