Ashley Williams comes to ACD as a licensed clinical social worker, originally from Chicago, IL,  who settled in St. Louis post-graduate school. Previously, Ashley worked for the Missouri Public Defender’s Children Defense Team, where she served as a mitigation specialist, advocate and consultant for juvenile holistic defense. Ashley also provided mental health support to new and expecting mothers and their families. She joined ACD in November of 2025, as the Social Services Manager, after an accident reignited passion to advocate for clients involved in the criminal legal system. Ashley desired  to be a part of an organization whose mission aligns with hers: zealous advocacy for those impacted by the criminal legal system.

Ashley brings nearly a decade of experience in the social services and mental health field. She is also a published author for her research on trauma and adolescent brain development.

Fun/personal fact: I am a foodie and enjoy exploring restaurants and coffee shops in the STL area.
