Legal Studies, St. Louis Community College

Jackie was born and raised in St. Louis. She attended the University of Missouri- Columbia for her undergraduate studies and spent 10 years working in the retail fashion industry. She was always politically engaged, but the murder of George Floyd along with the mission of ACD motivated her to change career paths and go back to school to become a Paralegal. She graduated with her degree in Legal Studies in 2022 and previously worked at the Public Defender’s Office before joining ACD in June of 2023. Jackie is motivated by ArchCity’s vision of holistic legal advocacy and civic-centered organizing to dismantle the racist systems of oppression that negatively impact our community.

She enjoys practicing yoga and is in the process of getting certified as an instructor.
