Madeleine joined ArchCity Defenders in October 2020 and was thrilled to join a team that provides holistic services in line with her own values. Before coming to ACD, Madeleine worked as a case manager and mental health therapist for individuals, families, and groups involved in the criminal legal system in St. Louis and beyond. As the Social Work Pilot Coordinator, Madeleine works with ACD’s clients and local professionals to design and implement a comprehensive social work program that reimagines public safety through a racial justice lens while creating pathways for individual self-determination and community empowerment.
