Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan which has given me a lifelong appreciation of trees, hippies, and Michigan football.

When did you join ArchCity Defenders? Why?
I joined Arch City Defender in the summer of 2019. I wanted to work for an organization that does both direct representation and systemic work to change conditions, which makes Arch City a dream job.

What is your background?
Right after college, I came to Missouri to work on a political campaign. Following that, I spent six years working with teenagers and their families in a combination of education, social service, and youth development work at a local program called College Bound St. Louis. I decided to go to law school in 2015 and knew I wanted to stay in St. Louis for a while. I went to SLU Law, graduated in 2018, and then clerked for a judge on the Missouri Supreme Court.
