In We Turned Up. Don’t Turn Down. We Did This for Mike Brown., filmmaker Wade Gardner examines the deeply personal and political aftermath of the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown Jr. by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. Through intimate interviews with those closest to the case—and voices from both sides—the documentary shines light on why the Brown family was denied their day in court and how this tragedy ignited a national movement for racial justice.

Described by leading scholar of African-American history, Dr. Gerald Horne, as “a major contribution” to both activism and cinema, this film is a call to remember, reflect, and act.

🎟️ Admission is free, but registration is required. Seating is limited to 100 guests.
